Genesis Schools was founded in 2003 as part of a mission to develop outstanding education centres throughout Tanzania. The school aims to prepare students for global citizenship.

Following the establishment and growth of the Oyster Bay campus, the school is now expanding in Kisota, Kigamboni.

Welcome to Genesis Schools, a unique learning environment for developing children's talents. Our slogan at Genesis is "Every Child Counts, Every Moment Matters." Genesis is an International School that adopts the Cambridge International Curriculum from Preschool to Secondary. Both our Oysterbay  and Kisota campus serve students from Preschool to Grade 7. To give our students a modern, rigorous education for lifetime learning, we use the world's popular Cambridge syllabus, courses, tests, and evaluation criteria.

The academic curriculum is supplemented with an enhanced, interesting extra-curricular programme that takes advantage of campus and community resources. This includes an Activity Week in which most Genesis students participate in learning cum fun study tours in and outside the country plus a Community Service week.

We are pleased to announce our Special Education Needs Unit (SEN), which serves children with problems ranging from autism to cerebral palsy to global developmental delay. We collaborate with and include parents and experts, and we employ specialists, physical and occupational therapists, speech therapists, social workers, counsellors, and psychologists. Reports from relevant professionals on the SEN child assist the school in developing and implementing an Individualized Education Plan (IEP) for each child.
